What is Community Supported Agriculture?

CSA is a partnership between farmers and consumers. The concept originated in Japan as a way to reconnect people with their food and the farmers who produce it. CSA was brought to the US via Europe. It is now a growing movement with over 2,000 CSA's in the US. By supporting the farm financially, members receive a share in the harvest every week throughout the growing season.
